BEACOLUX TABLET is a contact laxative. When administered orally, it produces normal peristalsis by direct action on the mucosa of the colon, usually resulting in a soft, formed stool. It is devoid of serious side effects.

INDICATION:
Constipation, bowel evacuation before radialogical procedures, endoscopy and surgery.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE:
2 tablets taken at bedtime in order to produce 1 or 2 actions the next morning. If taken half hour before breakfast, the effect will take place about 5 hours later. In stubborn cases of constipation, the dose may be increased to 4 tablets.
Tablets should be swallowed whole, cannot be chewed or crushed. Should not be taken within 1 hour after taking antacid or milk.
