Mucosolvan 24 Hours is a cough suppressant and expectorant combination. The cough suppressant works in the brain to help decrease the cough reflex to reduce a dry cough. The expectorant works by loosening mucus and lung secretions in the chest and making coughs more productive.

The small micropearls release their active ingredient quickly, the larger ones release it more slowly, thus treating your cough throughout the day. Mucosolvan can be taken with or without food.
The recommended dose for adults is 1 capsule once daily.
