Quinoa originates from the area of Peru and Bolivia. It is a grain crop grown primarily for its edible seeds and is closely related to species such as beetroot and spinach. It is one of the most protein-rich food as it contains all nine essential amino acids necessary for muscle and bone development and repair. And, it contains no gluten!.
Quinoa also contains up to twice as much fiber, iron, and zinc as other grains. It also contains high level of many minerals such as potassium, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, and copper. It has about one and a half times more calcium than wheat, and offers heart-healthy omega fatty acids. Because it is gluten free, easy to digest, protein balanced, and full of vitamins and minerals, it is being considered as a possible crop in NASA’s Controlled Ecological Life Support System for long-duration human occupied space flights.

DIRECTION OF USE
Easily replace any rice portion with Royal Quinoa! Just cook and consume.
1 cup of quinoa (170g) makes a serving size for 4. Simply rinse the Royal Quinoa under cold water until it runs clear. Add 2 cups of water or stock in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, and simmer. Cover and cook until all the water is absorbed; the grains should have fluffed up and appear tender (should take about 20 minutes).
STORAGE
Store in dry place at room temperature. After open recommended to consume in 3 months.
