Treatment for hemorrhoids and vericose veins

Diosmin is a semisynthetic phlebotropic, prescribed for hemorrhoids along with hesperidin. It is also used as an adjuvant therapy to hemorrhoidectomy, in order to reduce secondary bleeding.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION Usual dosage: 2 tablets daily in two divided doses, midday and evening at meals times. Acute hemorrhoidal attack: 6 tablets per day for the first 4 days, then 4 tablets per day for 3 days.
